Centennial Contractors uses the Somero S-22E and S940 Laser Screeds. Our laser screeds reduce labor costs because of faster placing time and reduced form work. Laser screeds increase productivity, customer satisfaction and employee morale. Fast tack production leads to shortened schedules. Greater accuracy through laser technology equals greater customer satisfaction. We can also do contoured paving using the Somero 3-D Profiler System.

We generally service a radius of 100 miles of our shop, but will be willing to discuss going further.

2023 Rates for our Laser Screed Services:

  • Flat screed - $.14/sq ft ($2,250 minimum)

  • Screed w/3D System - $.16/sq ft ($2,400 minimum)

  • Bridge System add-on - $.03/sq ft

  • Additional Charges and Rental Conditions

    • $35/hour Overtime

      • Before 7am and after 3pm weekdays

      • Saturdays

    • $60/hour Overtime Sundays

    • $95/hour setup & cleanup time

    • $2.85/mile travel

    • Differential charge for unions outside of Quad City area

    • Overnight stays

    • Two (2) hour cancellation required.

      • Late cancellations will be charged $90/hour, plus OT as applicable

  • Prices negotiable based on job size and location

  • Centennial Contractors assumes no liability for loss of profits, extra labor costs or consequential damages arising out of or resulting from non-pumpable/screedable concrete mix or malfunction of the equipment
